Bruce Jordan

JORDAN
Bruce Jordan passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at his home in Rimbey at the age of 94years.

 Bruce was born on January 17, 1922, at Enchant, Alberta, to Howard and Jenny Jordan, the fifth of seven children.  He moved with his family to a farm in the Rimbey area as a young boy. In 1945 Bruce married the love of his life, Irene, and they moved to the Monte Vista area where they raised their seven children. They had 55 years together before Irene passed away in 2000. 

 Mourning his passing are his children: Pat (Mervin) Layden, Brian, Dennis, Jim (Reta), Gerald (Beverley), Wesley (Elisabeth), and Virginia (Reg) Olson as well as numerous grandchildren,  great grandchildren, extended family and friends. Bruce was predeceased by his parents, his wife Irene , his daughter-in-law Gwynne Jordan, and all of his siblings.

 Funeral services will be held at the Peter Lougheed Community Centre on Tuesday October 25, 2016 at 1:00. Interment will follow in the West Haven Cemetery.
