Curtis Leroy Rangen

1970 – 2013

Curtis was born in Eckville, Alberta on March 15, 1970 to Margaret and Norris Rangen of Leslieville. Curtis passed away on May 1, 2013 at his place of residence, “Potters Hands” Apartments, in north Red Deer, Alberta.  Curtis took his schooling in Leslieville, and David
Thompson.  He was interested in farming, horses and all other animals.  He is survived by his father; Norris Rangen and Gail Casey of Leslieville, Gimlet area, brothers; Jonathan of Leslieville and Murray of Rocky, stepbrothers; Darcy, Cody, Kelly, stepsisters; Shari (Hanson) and Shannon (Carson). Curtis is also survived by numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his mother Margaret, brother Quinton (Shorty), Grandparents John and Clara Rangen, George & Ann Thiessen. A service for Curtis will be held in his memory on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the Leslieville Community Centre at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Leslieville Cemetery.  To honor Curtis’s life, donations may be made to Canadian Mental Health Association 2-5015 48^th Street, Red Deer, Alberta T4N 1S9, or other honourable causes of the donors choice
