Dear Don, Shelley and your whole family.
It was a shock to hear about Pat's death. It is an immense loss for all of you to lose this very special lady and terrific nurse. We send our deepest condolences and know that the wonderful memories will give you strength and comfort. We really had planned to be with you at Pat's Memorial Service but George is not as mobile after a fractured hip and we are moving from our acreage. Hugs and good wishes Mary and George Gardiner

I am so sorry that I can't join you to celebrate Pat's life. I worked with Pat when I started at the Lacombe Hospital 40 years ago and quite frankly Mrs. Resta "scared" me but she taught me dedication, attention to detail and a strong work ethic. I was one of 13 "new grads" that started within a short period of time and I am sure that is how she earned her "angel wings", putting up with all of us! Try to remember that she is "only just a thought away"!
