Mary Lou (Bourk) Sonmor

Mary Lou Sonmor of Clive, AB passed away in the Lacombe Hospital & Care Centre on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at the age of 72 years.  Mary Lou is survived by her daughter, Stacey Sonmor of Cochrane, AB; grandchildren, Kevin Clark of Red Deer, AB, and Casey, Erica and Kale Dolan of Sylvan Lake, AB; brother, John (Gladys) Bourk and family of Salmon Arm, BC; sisters, Margret Basaraba and family of Swift Current, SK, Maudie Luft (Dennis Jordan) and family of Rimbey, AB, and Donna Pitchko and family of Swift Current, SK; as well as many nieces and nephews.  Also left to mourn is her loving partner, Dwayne Mayer of Clive, AB and his children, Audrey, Cheryl, Travis, and grandchildren.  Mary Lou was predeceased by her parents, Ranel and Lula Bourk of Kindersley, SK; and one daughter, Jamie Lynn Dolan of Sylvan Lake, AB. 

A Celebration of Mary Lou’s Life will be held at Wilson’s Funeral Chapel (6120 Hwy 2A, Lacombe) on Monday, April 15, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
