Melvin Core Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Melvin Martin Core. Melvin died peacefully on April 13, 2024 with family by his side.
Melvin is survived by his sister Eveline Core and several nieces and nephews. Melvin was pre-deceased by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
Melvin found joy in every day living and working on the farm. He spent many years maintaining farm equipment, feeding cows and shearing sheep. When not on the tractor, Melvin’s favourite hobbies were golfing, fishing, bowling and baseball.
Melvin was deeply loved by his family and members of his community. He spent the last 5 years living at Royal Oak Manor in Lacombe, with sister Eveline just down the hall. They enjoyed lunches together and various forms of entertainment.
Melvin Martin Core will be missed.
Memorial Services to be held Saturday, April 27, 2024 in Rimbey, Alberta at Wilson’s Funeral Chapel. Service and memories to commence at 2pm. Coffee, tea and drinks to be provided.
