We miss you Mom (Grandma) …
I thought of you with love today,
but that is nothing new.
I thought about you yesterday,
and days before that too.
I think of you in silence,
we often speak your name.
All I have are memories,
and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is my keepsake,
with which I’ll never part.
God has you in his keeping,
we have you in our heart.

Miss you & Love you Mommsie

Came across this lovely poem ...
To our Mom on the 1 Year Anniversary of her passing.

Thinking of You on The Day You Went Away
Today, like many other days
brings special thoughts of you
of happy times we shared
and caring things you used to do.
And once more, it's a reminder
that life's road is sometimes rough
because the time we shared
just wasn't long enough.
For you were someone special
who was thought so highly of
who'll always be remembered
with affection, warmth and love.
So sending thoughts to heaven
on the anniversary of the day
you went away and hope you
know you're missed more than
words could ever say.

Love ya Mommsie ... from all of us!

Our sincerest condolences on the passing of Margaret. We received a donation today in her memory so we are just finding out. She was a true Terry Foxer and great supporter of the Foundation for so many years.
Sincerely,
Rhonda and all of us at The Terry Fox Foundation

Thank you Rhonda for your kind words ... they are greatly appreciated. (I'm sorry, I saw your post shortly after you wrote it and I meant to respond much sooner than now).

My Mom appreciated Terry Fox and was very proud & honoured to support the Terry Fox Foundation for the many years that she did. She was always excited to go out canvasing and to participate in the walk because she knew it was for a worthy cause.

Thanks again,
Lori Frostad

My heart is thinking of you Connie. I worked with your Mom on Dawnview in the 70's. I was just starting out at 18, and she taught me a lot by role modeling caring, warmth and compassion. She was such a hard worker, and I deeply respect her work ethic. I am thinking of you. It is so hard to lose our Mom's.
