We were truly sorry to hear about Ted's passing. Ted and Ann's were our neighbors when they moved into Lacombe. We enjoyed visiting with them and our girls enjoyed visiting with the grandchildren. Ted always had time to say hello and enjoyed chatting and asking how everyone when we saw him. He had a big heart and will be missed. Condolences to the Long family.

Tom and I were so sorry to hear about Ted's passing ! We stayed with Ted in his home a few years ago when we attended a Long Family Reunion and he was the most wonderful host . He even took us to where his daughter lives and we met his darling Molly , whom he adored !
One can never be prepared for a sudden death and I am just feeling so sorry that I didn't tell Ted how much he meant to us ! From Tom and Kathy

Ted was a friend to our family. My mom Lynda Brown loved playing cards with Ted. Ted had a good life and played cards well.

Sadly we have lost a good neighbor and friend with the passing of Ted. He was so kind to our boys growing up, they enjoyed many great times trout fishing at the dugout together. We always enjoyed his visits at our workshop or seeing him out and about on his ATV. We will truly miss him. Tom, Shelly, Spencer, Travis Zelinka

Sad to hear of Teds passing. He was always ready to help when it was needed. He took Bill to many card games and they always had a great time win or lose. He will be missed in the community for his good deeds . Rest in peace Ted.
Sincere sympathy to the family.

We are absolutely heart broken to have lost a great friend and the leader of our team at the flag whist tournaments around central Alberta and all the other cards we played at Kozy Korner. Nothing gave him more joy than jokingly teasing everybody ----he was just fun to be around. Stan and I will forever miss you, Rest in Peace Ted.

Ted loved to play cards and challenge us for a dollar each round. He sure didn't like losing and would jokingly blame 'something' if he did. He was always friendly and smiling. We are sad to hear of his passing and extend our condolences to his family. Rest in peace, "DETermined". You will be missed!

Shocked and so saddened to hear of Ted's passing. I've known Ted forever, and even though he liked to tease and argue, I always felt he had a soft side. He would share in ones accolades or defeats with genuine comfort. He was one to stop on the road to visit and offer an opinion and what he was snacking on. He was a great neighbor! Ted , "I'll bet I miss ya"

Just read about Ted's passing. Hard to believe he is gone. Always full of life. A helluva of a hockey and ball player. Was a keystone on some real good Blackfalds ball teams for many a year. Always enjoyed being around you Ted, even though at times a argument was a distinct possibility. RIP Ted.
