To the Family of Carrie Moran,
Our condolences to you on the loss of your mother, Carrie. Carrie gave her time and efforts to CARTA – Central Alberta Retired Teachers’ Association. She provided leadership, support, and especially friendship to other retired teachers, especially through the phoning committee. Her ideas and inspiration continue with our organization today.
I know that Carrie left a lasting impact on the students she taught. She was so effective with the most vulnerable students in our classrooms. Take comfort in the legacy she left with her colleagues and especially her students. May the blessings of all your good memories comfort you at this time.
Carrie Moran ….. A life well lived.
On behalf of the members of CARTA

Carrie was my daughter Penny's first teacher - in a special class at Central Elementary School in Red Deer. She was one of the most beloved of Penny's teachers and also a dear friend of mine over many years. She was one of God's beautiful people.

Even though I was unable to visit her since she was moved to Lacombe, she was always in my thoughts and prayers. I will miss her.
